Common questions

I can't sign in

• If you used Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, make sure you're picking the same provider you originally signed up with.
• If you used email and password, tap Forgot Password? on the Login screen — we'll email you a reset link.
• Still stuck? Email us at the address above and include the email you're trying to sign in with.

I'm not getting push notifications

• Open your device's Settings → Notifications → Bout2 and confirm notifications are allowed.
• In the app, go to Profile → Notification Settings and check that reminders and invites are enabled.
• Pull-to-refresh on the Feed once after enabling — that re-registers your device with our server.

How do I find friends on Bout2?

• Open the Friends tab and tap Find — you can search by name, by username, or share your invite code/QR with someone.
• Tap Find friends from contacts to check which of your phone's contacts already have a Bout2 account. We only check for matches; we don't store your address book.

How do I create or invite people to a plan?

• Tap the blue + Add Activity button at the bottom of the screen.
• Pick a title, time, and place, choose visibility (Private, Friends, or Public), and tap Continue.
• On the next screen, tap friends to invite, or share the invite link with someone who isn't on Bout2 yet.

How do I delete my account?

From inside the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. The deletion completes within 30 days. You can also request deletion by emailing the address above. See the full data deletion policy for details.

Report a bug or suggest a feature
